Yards Brewery's New Location, Christmas Village in LOVE Park, and the 38th Annual West Chester Christmas Parade (presented by QVC)

Matt and Kristen spoke with Tom Kehoe and Trevor Pritchett of Yards Brewery about their new location at 500 Spring Garden St. Then Corinna Breuer speaks with Kristen about Christmas Village, open Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, and back in Love Park this year. Matt and Kristen spoke to Tom Kehoe and Trevor Pritchett of Yards Brewery before the Grand Opening of their new Yards Brewery and Taproom located at 500 Spring Garden Street. Tom and Trevor celebrate 23 years of brewing in Philadelphia with the opening of their 70,000 square foot location featuring a great list of their Yards beers on draft, plus delicious food (try the cheddar bratwurst!).  Yards continues their legacy of being Philadelphia's Brewery in this new spot, and as always - encourages everyone to Brew Unto Others.
Christmas Village has become a Philadelphia staple and December tradition over the last 10 years of its existence in Love park (minus last year of course when Christmas Village was moved Dilworth Plaza while Love Park underwent a facelift). Christmas Village returns to its home in Love Park this year, and Kristen spoke to Corinna Breuer, PR for Christmas Village, to find out what we can expect in this 10th year of Philadelphia's authentic German Christmas market. Ho Ho Happy Hour returns this year on Wednesdays with $5 mulled wine ($3 refills), Santa Paws events for dogs every Friday, partnering with PAWS, and of course the big 10 Year Anniversary celebration! Hailed by USA Today as one of the top ten places in the COUNTRY to see Santa Claus, the 38th Annual QVC West Chester Christmas Parade is Friday, December 1st this year and it will be bigger and better than ever. Listen as Kristen speaks with Mark Yoder, President of West Chester Chamber of Commerce and Kate Sheehan, Manager of Community Affairs at QVC about the history of the parade, and what's in store for this year - including 4,500 participants from local schools, businesses, volunteer fire companies and other service organizations. Get there early for the 9th Annual Jingle Elf Run & Walk. The 2-mile race (or 1-mile walk) kicks off at 6:30 pm (before the parade). Then, see Mr. and Mrs. Claus (of course), lots of marching bands, floats, and antique vehicles... and just announced -  Miss America 2018 Cara Mund will be making an appearance on a special Miss America float. QVC hosts Carolyn Gracie and Dan Hughes will continue as this year's Master of Ceremonies.
