The month of March is Red Cross Month, in recognition of the humanitarian services that the Red Cross provides. You can help the Red Cross by donating blood, making a financial donation, learning lifesaving skills, and becoming a volunteer. You can also help by attending the 2019 Red Cross Red Ball. Mary Ann Milner, Regional Director of Development at the American Red Cross of Eastern PA joins Kristen in studio to talk about this year’s Red Cross Red Ball to benefit the Red Cross House - a center for disaster recovery in Philadelphia. The party features two live dance bands, over 30 restaurants, a very popular dessert lounge, numerous beverage options, a silent auction and lots more. Kristen saw the show on Tuesday evening and thought the cast and performance was exceptional. Formerly known as the Hot Chocolate event, Sips and Sweets will be the cocktail party of the year! Guests will taste decadent drinks and confections from a number of local bakeries, breweries, sweet shops, wineries, and distilleries amid some of the fascinating exhibits at The Franklin Institute Science Museum.
