This week on the podcast, we’re catching up with combat robotics builders Alon Belkin, Joshua Kong and Kyle Loyola! Last year, Alon captained Axolotl, the hot pink, salamander-themed vertical spinner run by high school students from Southern California.

This year, Alon, Joshua and Kyle have teamed up to build Skyline, an ambitious dual horizontal spinner that they’ve been testing on the local combat robotics circuit, in hopes of getting accepted to BattleBots in the future. It’s interesting, weird and we really like it.
