What would you do if you were given $1,000 to spend on your classroom? 🤯 I’m sure your mind is filled with ideas of everything you want in your classroom to help it run more smoothly, engage students, and create a fun space. During our new teacher giveaway earlier this year, I was so excited to give $1,000 to an amazing new teacher, Leia Hunt, so she could check off some things on her wishlist!

Leia has overcome so much as a childhood cancer survivor and now she is giving back by raising money for children and their families in their fight against cancer. She has the biggest heart inside and outside of the classroom and has such a passion for teaching and positively impacting her students. Leia joins me on the podcast to share how she plans to spend the $1,000 in her new classroom.
