Thoughtful Thursday- What is Courage?

Courage... the definition, according to the Webster Dictionary is : mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, Fear or difficulty. Sounds simple, and yet, is probably the hardest thing to do. A quote from JRR Tolkien, author of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings series says, "Courage is found in unlikely places". I like that. It makes me feel like courage is not just for Super Heros. That maybe, just maybe, any one can be courageous, and in so being, do amazing things in this world. Just like those Hobbits did in all those wonderful books and movies, just like so many ordinary people do, every single day. So go on, take a chance to set your fears aside and be courageous!
