Coronavirus: Vaccines

In this episode, Angie Gust talks about some information regarding the coronavirus vaccine that CDC wants you to know. For instance, all safety data is reviewed before the vaccine is recommended, the safety of the vaccine will continue to be monitored, fever is a side effect, and side effects are a sign the vaccine is working.  Regarding the environment, last December former vice President Al Gore talked about how important it is to use the COVID-19 recovery money to advance climate and equity goals. A recent paper in the journal Science calculated that if 10 percent of the $12 trillion already committed to economic recovery were invested in clean energy and energy efficiency, the world could be on a path to meeting the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
