As an entrepreneurial mother of 3, Robiar Smith was inspired to blaze the trail for women of color in a lucrative yet male-dominated industry. Combining her passion and advocacy for public health beginning in the home with her innate resourceful mentality, Smith launched the most successful Black woman-owned extermination company, R.B Pest Solutions.

Beyond her company, as a visionary and mentor that desires to leave a legacy, through her example and advocacy, Robiar has been able to inspire women throughout underserved communities like Southside Chicago to create new and innovative opportunities for them and their families.

Robiar is a former Woman in Tech and University business Professor who is continuing to break barriers now in a multi-million dollar male dominated industry. She is here to share with us how she has used her own trials to propel her forward and how legacy is not just what you do, it’s what you do for others who are following behind you.
