Eric Williams Is the Founder of an organization called Project Elijah Empowering Autism (PEEA).
PEEA is a 501(c)3 organization established in 2004 and named after Eric’s son Elijah, now 24 years old, who at the age of 3 was diagnosed with autism. With no programs in his community serving autistic children or their families at that time, Eric created PEEA as a community resource and support system that he has now been leading for the past 18 years in Philadelphia.
Eric uses unique and innovative methodologies to offer diversity and inclusion experiences for the autistic children and their families and is a dedicated leader in his community. On this episode of Be The Good Podcast Eric is here to share with us his personal journey to create and expand PEEA and the powerful impact his organization is having on the autistic community that he serves.
