It's Fuck Yeah Friday.

Brad Crowell 0:01

Fuck yeah.

Lesley Logan 0:02

Get ready for some wins.

Lesley Logan 0:05

Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started.

Lesley Logan 0:47

Hey, Be It babe, welcome back to the Be It Till You See It podcast. This is Fuck Yeah Friday this is the time we celebrate your wins we celebrate one of mine and we inspire everyone around us to start celebrating wins because why? Why do we celebrate wins it creates dopamine in the brain just makes you feel freakin good. And do you know what dopamine does? It makes it really easy to create a habit around celebrating but also did you know that it's what's needed around to avoid procrastinating? Did you know that? Procrastinating and it's not at all has nothing to do with your character. It has everything to do with dopamine, a few other hormones, which is quite fucking awesome. I had a whole I did a whole webinar on this. But that's another topic for another day. I'm gonna celebrate one of your wins, some of mine. And then I want to hear your wins. So the more you send them to me, the more I can share it with you. All right, so here we go. Let's pull up your wins.

Lesley Logan 1:33

All right, we have Sonia Ahmed, she shared been more consistent with posting on Instagram and writing blogs had another couple of signups via my landing page for interest on a future project that they might think it's free question question. So not sure if I'll get signups but it tells me that people are interested. And I'm finally going for something that's just been on idea for the past couple of years. Way to go, Sonia I friggin love it. I know it's been an idea of yours for a really long time. It's really scary to start something new, especially if you don't have the audience for it yet. So way to go. She's got one more win though, guys. Here we go. She met with her eLevate partner, Jane, in London for lunch. It was fabulous. Thanks, LL, for connecting us we spent three hours talking nonstop and not once about Pilates. So Sonia Ahmed is an Agency and she's an eLevate grad, she's in eLevate round two with Jane. And I just absolutely adore both of these women. And I fucking love that they met because of Pilates and they hung out and they didn't talk about Pilates at all. And I also just want to say that I love that they're such she's celebrating a win about Mini and someone in real life. That's really beautiful. Did you did you realize you can celebrate even coffee with a friend? Because you can. That's a win. That's a win. It's absolutely a win to celebrate the things that you do everyday. There's so many things that you do, get done, that do happen, that you do that scare the fuck out of you but you do them.

Lesley Logan 2:54

So my win is my birthday. It's my birthday. I'm 41 years old. And one of my biggest wins about turning 41 Is that I fucking love that it's my birthday. I'm not shying away from being 41. I love telling people how old I am. I don't even feel old, by the way. And I don't think 41 is old. But I absolutely love sharing it. There's a few things that I think are really important for me to talk about, money and age. And what happens as we age. Oh my gosh, what happens as we age. And so I'm so grateful because I have a lot of friends who have always been older than me. And I love that they share with me their perimenopause stories because I am prepping for that now because of them. I love that long time ago, people were like, oh, I started eating more protein. I wish like it did this and this is how it helped me. And so here I am my win is that I'm 41, very proud about being 41. I think it's really easy on your birthday to focus on all the things that you thought you'd have by now. Like I definitely thought I'd have a G-Wagon by now. There was a time when I thought I should have a G-Wagon before I turned 40. But actually, I'm so absolutely fucking proud of being 41 and being exactly where I am. Because everything that has helped me get here, every single obstacle and trust me there are some I would never want to relive ever a day in my life. But they've all helped me get here and be there to support you and the people around me and myself. And so that's my win.

Lesley Logan 4:21

It's my birthday and I've got a lot of great ideas and a lot of things I want to do. There are some things that scare the fuck out of me. Like I have a humongous goal when it comes to making an impact on this planet of 50,000 people doing Pilates. Right? That's huge. And so I'm constantly thinking like how can I do that? How can I do that? Which is one of the reasons why I coach business fitness instructors and Pilates instructors because I can't actually teach off a few thousand people and they could probably in millions, right? But part of getting to that number sooner is helping other teachers teach the people that they are the most important people to teach like they're the best ones out there for that. So I'm super, super stoked to support them. It's also why eLevate exists because I'm so many teachers have impostor syndrome and spend way too much time over-talking, over-correcting and over-planning. And not listening to their gut and they lose their confidence that way. And so we do OPC because that's where I hope 50,000 people to fly someday with an amazing community when that be cool, so cool. Oh my God, I feel it. It could be possible.

Lesley Logan 5:29

So yeah, Fuck Yeah Friday, it is my big vision. It's my birthday. I'm proud to be another year older. And I'm so grateful that you listen to this podcast and let me share some wins. And so, last week, I've totally got so excited forgot the affirmation. So why don't I give you two this week? Okay. Asking for help is a sign of self-respect and self-awareness. Oh my gosh, what a great affirmation. Because you know what some of the things you want to do in this life you got to do with others. In fact, life is boring alone. Do it with others. So asking for help is a sign of self-respect and self-awareness. What? Yeah, it is. So love that one.

Lesley Logan 6:12

And then the second one I'm gonna give you is I affirm and encourage others as I do myself. So not only, my loves, are you going to ask for help because it's a sign of self-respect and self-awareness. But also, you affirm, encourage others as you do yourself. Thank you so much for listening to podcasts. And until next time, Be It Till You See It. Now go celebrate something you did.
