Get ready for some wins.

Lesley Logan 0:05

Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started.

Lesley Logan 0:47

Hi, Be It babel Welcome back to the Be It Till You See It show. This is Friday, which means it's your short, your quickie, your inspiration, the reminder that you have more wins in your life than you think. And here we are the new year and oh my goodness, the pressure, the pressure. And even if you don't believe in the pressure, everyone's like asked what are you doing this year? What's your excitement? What do you do for the holidays? Do you think? And it's like, hopefully you did a lot of nothing. I hope you did. I hope you took some time for yourself. I hope you, hope you watched the sunrise or sunset. I hope you like did things with things (inaudible) in your ears and I hope you caught some fresh air even if it's cold and and you just took some time for yourself. I'm going to share one of your wins and then I'm going to share one of mine. That's how this episode goes. And we have amazing interviews all day long. And then the recaps, if you're not listening to them, you should, even if you don't listen to interviews because Brad and I say some funny things. Okay. The first one. Your win.

Lesley Logan 1:38

Tami-Adrian George, this one's beautiful. So here's her win. A client who has been so depressed and has canceled everything else kept her appointments this week. It's baby steps reminder for her and for me. New prospective client I've been dating just booked for an intro session at her new at my new rate. Yeah, that's amazing. I love that. And it's so nice when you get a new client and then they pay your new rate. It's like a win. It is a win. You're calling it a win. Group call was so good yesterday. I did the replay during my pre-dinner walk. I heard new ideas I've never even considered and got reminded of the things I can let slip. That is why we do the group calls, Tami, as an Agency member and we do these group calls and even if you can't make them like just listening to them on your walk can make you go oh, I never thought about that. I never thought about that. So I love that you got that, Tami.

Lesley Logan 2:25

Okay, last one from Tami. My sister is healing so well from double mastectomy is after five months of chemo. That is a huge win. My son turned in his first college application for early decision which I had to use every ferocious tiger mom skill I possessed to make it happen because one university really screwed him over. Don't mess with the fam. Tami, you are nothing short of amazing. I love sharing Tami's wins with you guys because she is a wife and a mom and she runs her own business and she (inaudible) the house, bopping around, place to place. In fact, she has a course on how you can too, bop around from place to place and make your income doing that. And I love that she's got wins for her clients, she's got wins for her professional self, she's got wins for her family. And also that she's recognizing the strength and power that she has, you know, like one of the wins she just shared. So important that you hear this. One of the wins that she just shared came from a shitty situation, right? Well, actually a couple. Her sister having chemo, having to chemo but then her son's situation like the fact that she was able to just advocate for herself, for her son and do all this stuff to make sure that that happened. And then she celebrating the win that she did that. It's really, really important. You guys, we sometimes have these obstacles in our life. And we're like, why is this happening to me? And it's like, well, why is this happening for you? So you can see that you're like a fucking badass, your ferocious tiger mom skill. So thank you, Tami, for sharing that with all of us so we can celebrate you and my heart goes out to your sister and your family. Know you all are taking good care of her. And she's such a strong woman.

Lesley Logan 3:56

So okay, my win. We wrapped the tour, the tour is wrapped, you're not going to hear about the winter tour, except for and how much I loved it. And I miss it. Until the next winter tour. So I'm so proud of every single person that partnered with us, thank you to our sponsors to Balanced Body, and to the people who donated prizes along the way that could just make people feel special for showing up and doing something for themselves. Thank you to my team who made it our biggest tour you guys putting a 20-city tour together on top of all the things that we do - this podcast, Agency, OPC - mean for us to do a tour like that means I have, we have to be over a month ahead in everything because I won't have access to do any of that stuff. And so I just we it was amazing. It was awesome. It was just the best and the most people that we've ever been like an impact on a tour. It's kind of like what I dreamed the tours would be back in 2018 when we first started them. So thank you for loving the tours and for coming. And thank you to my entire team for every single part that you played to make sure that the tour could happen. So Brad and I and the dogs could enjoy ourselves and our families and all of you. So thank you so much that my win is that and that is a big win. Your wins don't have to be that big. They can literally be small. They can be like Tami's win about she has a new prospective client coming in for a new session on a new rate. That's a fucking great win.

Lesley Logan 4:08

So y'all make sure, it's day five of the month of the year. What can you celebrate already that you have done? Don't get hard on yourself in the things you failed in air quotes, because it just be back on do you need more time? Are you ready for that? Do you need to do something before you do that? Right, there's it's information we don't have to be perfect. We're all, we're all just trying here.

Lesley Logan 5:43

The affirmation, first one of the year, here it is. I am growing and I'm going at my own pace. I am growing and I am going at my own pace. Say that out loud. I am I growing and I am going at my own pace. Y'all are all going on your own pace. I'm on my own pace. We're on no race. And you are allowed to take as long as you need. As long as you need. Don't be hard on yourself if that's if you need more time. Take the time. Right?

Lesley Logan 6:11

Thank you so much for listening to podcasts. We have a great interview coming up for you on Tuesday. Brad and I have a fabulous fun recap. I'm sure it's hilarious, because I'm sure we're losing our minds by the time we recorded that one. So that means lots of funny things. Lots of snark come back and forth for you on Thursday. If you have any questions you can send them into the Be It Pod. If you have a win you want me to shout out for you send that to the Be It Pod and until next time, Be It Till You See It.
