Recent initiatives in the Diederich College of Communication at Marquette University have created new opportunities for students. Sophomore Alex Milbrath, a journalism and political scientist major, spoke to the person responsible for the changes, Dr. Kimo Ah Yun.

***Update to this story: On October 31, 2018, Dr. Ah Yun became the acting provost at Marquette. On December 2, 2019, he was named the permanent provost and executive vice president for academic affairs. He is a first-generation college student and the first person of color to serve as provost at Marquette University.
