On this episode, since being calm and relaxed are paramount to having a dog that will trust and respect you, the Packman will share some things you can do to calm your mind and relax your body.

He'll also explain how being assertive with your dog isn't about being mean, arrogant, bossy or violent. Rather, it's about being serious about your intent. A lot of people feel bad, guilty, simply don't mean it, or aren't asserting themselves when asking their dog to stop disrespecting them (biting, pulling, jumping, etc) because they don't want their dog to hate them.

Being firm, serious, tough, assertive is key to earning a dog's trust and respect, but only if it's always done in a calm fashion.
