Who Shot Bobby Kennedy?!

What's up to my salubrious stingrays and darlingly derelict dingoes! (Side note: darlingly should be a word, even if it's not. I'm claiming artistic license.)

Then, our complexly seasoned veggies this week unpack the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy on June 5, 1968. He was mortally wounded just moments after giving his victory speech for having won the California primary. Kennedy was poised to be the Democratic nominee, and would he have beaten Nixon in 1968? I think so yes. He was wildly popular amongst a diverse array of demographics. He was a civil rights advocate, he wanted to get out of Vietnam, and he wanted to reform the tax code so that the wealthy paid more money and not just the working class. He wasn't perfect by any means. However, it cannot be overstated how radically his murder altered the course of American history, and in all the wrong ways.
