We say it over and over, but our favourite place on earth is Vermont, and the one thing about this whole pandemic thing that we're missing the most is our regular trips south of the border. Come to think of it, we haven't even had a brewery from VT on the pod - until now. You may remember Episode #129 from the OG series where we hung with the whole family behind St. Albans, VT's Mill River Brewing BBQ & Smokehouse, which was a riot. This time, we kept it a little more lowkey and hung out with brewers Levon Fitzgerald (who you may remember from last time) and Terry Thompson.
We chopped it up about how things have been in Vermont throughout this whole thing, how their customers' buying habits and drinking preferences directly inspire how they operate, Levon's maple business, the return of the crispyboi and the West Coast IPA, how the brewery works in tandem with their kitchen, and a lot more. We cracked cans of their lager Hello My Name Is Beer, their Blackberry Rhubarb Wheat Ale, their new NEIPA Figure It Out, and we wrapped things up with their first ever West Coast IPA, Trouble In The Forest. Cheers!
