The SS Bessemer is a paddle steam ship from the 1870s that noted inventor Sir Henry Bessemer. Bessemer was tired of getting sea sick on his voyages so he made a room inside of a ship that was on gimbals and hydraulics. It was a great idea until it made the ship unable to steer and it crashed into the pier of Calais. Twice.
