We are recording from Wantagh HS with Head Coach Keith Sachs. When he took over the program they were in the midst of a 24 year postseason drought. Since then (25 years), he has won five Long Island Championships and two New York State Championships. He discussed how they've been so successful, what it was like to win their first title in 1998 against a 34-0 team featuring a future Major Leaguer and why he encourages his guys to be multi-sport athletes. We discussed his playing career at Hofstra University and what keeps him motivated after 25 years.
