In contrast to similar workflow automation tools, the source code of n8n is public which offers certain benefits – open access, strong community, cost control – and alleviates many data compliance and GDPR concerns that companies might have. After all, the inner workings can be inspected by anyone and data doesn't need to be shared with a third party.
