This week, Eric Figueroa is Attempting Fatherhood. I met him a few years ago in NYC. We were both going to the same church and at first glance, he and I don’t have much in common. He's from Puerto Rico and at the time, he and his wife had only been married a few years, no kids and he was in corporate finance. BUT we became fast friends because he’s one of those people who is left and right brained--organized, punctual, business-minded but also a very creative, highly talented musician, speaker and community builder.

Even though he's only been in the Fatherhood game for about 18 months now, he's already dropping all kinds of gems and wisdom and I loved this interview. He also talks about how he and his wife are raising their daughter incorporating both their Puerto Rican heritage and their life in America; I know alot of families deal with this balance so it was cool to hear his perspective. And last but not least we also got really deep as we spoke about...lawn care. Yep. It happened.

Now this week is the 7th episode and final guest for season two. BUT don't worry, I've got two special episodes coming up, one will be a best-of with clips from the past seven weeks and the other will be my personal takeaways from season one, what I've learned, etc. I've also lined up my guests for season two and had a few chats already and I'm so excited to get those episodes out to you guys launching around Father's Day.
