New Year's Eve Service 2023, Entering Into Rest

This is the final message of 2023.  Pastor Travis talks to us about resting and taking time out of busyness to rest and waiting on the Lord.

Mark 6:31-32 (NKJV)
31 And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. 32 So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.

1 Corinthians 11:28 (NKJV)
28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

2 Corinthians 13:5 (NKJV)
5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you [a]are disqualified.

Job 29:5-6 (NKJV)
5 When the Almighty was yet with me, When my children were around me;
6 When my steps were bathed with cream, And the rock poured out rivers of oil for me!

These are the 6 responsibilities of any Church:

1) Teach Biblical doctrine & Worship together
2) Have fellowship and observe the Lords Supper
3) Pray & Proclaim the Gospel
4) Minister to the needs of others
5) Equip believers for the work of the ministry 
6) Be a Lighthouse in the community
