goodbye/fun facts....national twins day...Mythology has told us a lot about the unique set. Remember Esau and Jacob? They were the first twins recorded in the Bible. we seem fascinated whenever we see twins among us, whether as babies, teenagers, or adults, fraternal or identical twins....or even triplets, quads, or more! Moses and Aaron Wilcox are the pair of twins who inspired National Twin Day. In 1819, on this day...they donated six acres of land to a town, Millville, OHIO. In exchange, the town changed its name to Twinsburg. In 1976, Twinsburg hosted the first twin festival.  that first year only 36 twins were in attendance...but over the last 48 years...the festival has seen over 84,000 twins and multiples in attendance!
