Natasha is a person living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Dr. Batthish is a pediatric rheumatologist from McMaster Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Garner is an adult rheumatologist from the University of Calgary. Together, the trio speaks to Kelly Lendvoy on what is the definition of an emerging adult with rheumatic disease and highlights the challenges that may arise in the transition from pediatric rheumatology care to adult rheumatology care.
