Welcome back AWAY family! We wanted to dedicated more than just one episode in light of the recent events that took place to spark the protests and the fight to end police brutality. Especially because this is a time where we are continually learning something new everyday. Bringing awareness to the issues that come to light as we enter adulthood is our mission for this show. And as two latina women, it is important for us to make sure we are fully aware of the systemic racism that is constantly occurring around us. As we become more and more aware of the Black Lives Matter movement, we're learning a lot! This topic can go on forever. And it should. But for now here is just a piece of the puzzle we are attempting to create in our minds.
