Dating culture and all that comes with it!

We're back fam! And this week the topic is all about the big D! Yup, you got it right, DATING! Thanks to the help of some of our Instagram friends, we're attempting to dig a little deep into the pros and cons of the dating culture and why most of us are just straight up over it.

We make sure to touch base on online dating, serial dating, ghosting, catcalling, soulmates, and how dating can mean something to one person and another to someone else. After researching all of this, it's clear to see why dating can get tiring and discouraging after a few failed attempts. But something we really want to point out is how much fun this experience can be. There's a certain thrill that comes with dating and it's important to keep that in mind. Meeting new people and gaining new perspectives through these interactions will ultimately help us understand who we are and what we want out of any relationship.

The more we talked about this, the more we came to an ultimate conclusion on our opinion for dating. Date yourself first. Take yourself out, dress up, enjoy your own company. Pretty much, fall in love with yourself so you can become aware of what you deserve.

Also, we weren't able to give y'all a 5 min wine down this week thanks to COVID-19. But we do talk about how JQ is going to be the Are We Adulting Yet guinea pig for dating. Since she's officially single, we are going to put her on a few dating sites and see what happens. And once all of this is over, we're going SPEED DATING! So stay tuned to hear how it all goes! We're super excited to share it with you.
