We're back family! Thank you for joining us yet again on another episode of Are We Adulting Yet! And if you're new to the show, welcome to the show! Pour yourselves a nice big glass of wine and tune in.
This week you're two favorite girls talk about the big M word....MARRIAGE! Are we ready for it? Do we believe in it? Why do we get divorced? What does marriage really mean? These are questions we find ourselves asking a lot, especially as we get older and start to create serious relationships for ourselves. But no matter what, the most important marriage you should have is the one with yourself. Which brings us to our adulting 101 tip of the week: to make sure you still keep some of your independence in any relationship you find yourself in. They say marriage is when two become one, but we disagree. Marriage should be two wholes coming together in partnership. Of course our opinions about this topic may be different from others, but talking about this really did help us grasp an understanding on what we want. And if you're single, in a relationship, engaged or married, we hope this helped you too. If it did, we hope you join us in the task of the week to improve our adulthood, and that is to take a step back to observe and think about what really goes into a marriage. Even if you're already married, it's a good reminder.
