I am born and raised in St. Paul, MN. At the age of 18, I flew to France and lived there for one
year to study and work as a sommelier.
All throughout my twenties, I traveled the world making wine, studying wine, and filming wine
documentaries (In fact, if you go to YouTube and type in “South Africa Wine Documentary – The Pink Grape” you will be able to watch my wine documentary).
At the age of 28, while sitting on the couch, my younger brother approached me and asked if I
had ever heard of Michael Blank. My reply was no.
I signed up for Michaels Ultimate Guide Program and started listening to his podcasts. Once I
got educated, I immediately began looking for deals and underwriting them. A year and a half
later, a deal came across my desk and I underwrote it and it worked. I submitted the deal to the deal desk and it got accepted. A few months after that, we closed on the deal. 218 units was my first deal. Since then I have closed on my second deal and grown my network.
