Genesis 9:6 Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.
Proverbs 6[16–17] The Lord hates … hands that shed innocent blood.
Exodus 20:13: You shall not murder.
When the sperm and egg come together, a person is formed … with a unique combination of genetic information. Nothing new is added—everything that makes you is there from that moment.
Yes, a fertilized egg is a person made in God’s image. And the Lord hates the shedding of innocent blood.
