It’s God—not us—who saves. We simply obey his Word, do our part, and trust that Christ will build his church. The gates of hell just can’t prevail against it.
This is Ken Ham, and our ministry has produced a series of great evangelistic pocket guides.
Yesterday we learned that we can’t save anyone. After all, the Bible teaches that unbelievers aren’t just spiritually sick—they’re dead. And we can’t bring the dead to life. But what’s impossible with man is possible with God.
So, our job is just to obey God. Preach the gospel, call everyone to repent, provide answers for the hope that we have, contend for the faith, and stand boldly on the authority of God’s Word. We do what we can do—and then we trust the Lord.
It’s God—not us—who saves. So, we simply obey his Word, do our part, and trust that Christ will build his church. The gates of hell just can’t prevail against it.
