Is God a “she”? Some church denominations are now praying to “Mother God” … and using pronouns like “she” when referring to God.

Well, God is Spirit, so he doesn’t have a body like we do. But throughout Scripture, male pronouns, and terms like “Father,” are always used for God. He has chosen to reveal himself to us in the masculine.

But does this really matter? Well, yes it does! We don’t want to add to Scripture … or reject biblical truth. There’s only one true God and he has revealed himself to us in Scripture. We don’t get to decide who God is.

When we make a God in our own image, we’re making an idol … and we’re not worshipping the one true God who saves.
