Many people believe Noah’s ark … and the flood … are just a children’s story. They’ll say it certainly didn’t happen, though all the animals on a little boat are pretty cute. But that’s not how the Bible treats it!
You see, Genesis was written as history. The events are given as if that’s how they actually happened. And Jesus and the apostles also talk about the flood as a real event. They truly believed it was history.
The evidence for a flood is all around us. Rock layers across continents … fossils of sea creatures on the tops of mountains … rapid burial of billions of creatures, and so on. These are all leftovers from the global flood.
Noah’s ark wasn’t a story. It was real.
