Today we’re celebrating four years since the Ark Encounter opened in Northern Kentucky. Now, the centerpiece of the attraction is a life-size reconstruction of Noah’s ark, 510-feet long! Millions of guests have toured the Ark. And you know what we hear all the time? It’s: “Wow, I had no idea it was so big!”
Because of the silly ark illustrations most of us grew up with, people think the ship was an overloaded boat, about to sink. But that’s not the biblical Ark. The real ark was massive—much longer than a football field!
The Ark isn’t a story. As we show at the Ark Encounter, the flood was a real, historical event.
