On this Good Friday, we can look even further ahead into the future with anticipation because Christ is coming again!

On Good Friday, we remember the death of Christ on our behalf. It’s a sobering day but also one of celebration. That’s because we know Sunday’s coming and we know it was Christ’s sacrificial death that saves us.

But on this Good Friday, we can look even further ahead than the resurrection of Christ that took place the third day after his death. We can look into the future with anticipation because Christ is coming again!

The Old Testament is full of prophecies of Jesus’ first and second comings. And just as he came the first time and fulfilled every prophecy, he is coming again and will fulfill all of those prophecies, too.
