This week we’re looking at shocking results from a recent “State of Theology” survey. According to this U.S. study, over one-third of supposed evangelicals say Jesus was a good teacher, but not God.
Now, we should take everything and compare it against God’s Word. So let’s see what Scripture says.
Jesus called himself “I AM,” the name God used to describe himself. The Jewish leaders wanted to stone Jesus for making himself equal with God.
Also, Jesus accepted worship from people and worship is reserved for God alone. Jesus said only God is good, so if he wasn’t God, he couldn’t have taken our sins on the cross when he died.
Yes, he’s God.
