Genesis tells us that when God saw everything he’d made, it was “very good.” In other words, God’s original creation was perfect.
This is Ken Ham, CEO of the ministry behind the life-size Noah’s Ark at Ark Encounter.
Genesis tells us that when God saw everything he’d made, it was “very good.” In other words, God’s original creation was perfect.
But many Christians try and add millions of years into Genesis. Now these long ages come from an interpretation of the rock layers and fossils, and fossils are the remains of, well, dead things. So what these Christians are really saying is there was millions of years of death before we sinned.
And this makes God—not us—the author of death. That calls into question his all-good and all-loving character!
God didn’t use millions of years—he created in six days just as he said he did in Genesis.
