Many Christians accept the idea of millions of years for earth’s history and add it into the Bible. But what many don’t realize is this puts millions of years of death, disease, and bloodshed before sin.

You see, this makes the Creator the author of death, disease, and bloodshed. The Bible describes creation as an act of God speaking everything into existence. But if the millions of years are true, God is a bumbling Creator who can’t get it right until he tries and tries and tries again. And millions of creatures die along the way!

No instead of adding man’s ideas about the past into God’s Word, we must start with Scripture.
