Dawkins and I will agree on lots of things involving observational science, but where we’ll disagree is when it comes to historical science.

This is Ken Ham, and our ministry has produced the popular Answers VBS for churches.

Yesterday we saw that I agree with evolutionist Richard Dawkins on a matter of biology! How can a creationist and an evolutionist agree on anything?

Well, there’s a big difference between observational and historical science. With observational science, we do repeatable experiments and develop technology. With historical science, we’re asking questions about the past, which can’t be directly tested or observed, but must be interpreted based on your beliefs about the past.

Dawkins and I will agree on lots of things involving observational science, but where we’ll disagree is when it comes to historical science.
