This is Ken Ham, a publisher of the apologetics, award-winning family magazine, called Answers.
Are most people good by nature, but they just “sin a little?” Well, nearly half of supposed Evangelicals in the U.S. say “yes!”
But let’s compare this idea to Scripture.
Paul writes, “For all have sinned” and “you were dead in your sins,” also “the carnal mind is enmity against God” and “none is righteous, no, not one.” Jesus said, “Everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”
The testimony of Scripture is clear—we’re all sinners. And we don’t just sin a little. Apart from Christ, we’re dead in our sin, enemies of God. We’re enslaved.
But we can be freed from this slavery through the gift of salvation!
