All this week, we’ve been discussing the famed Tower of Babel. Now, tomorrow is a very sad anniversary . . . and it involved two towers. Twenty years ago, hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York—a day remembered as “nine-eleven.”


Tomorrow we’ll remember the thousands who died twenty years ago . . . including those in the other hijacked planes that crashed into Washington DC and Pennsylvania.


It’s a reminder of sin in this world . . . and the depths of human depravity. But it’s also a reminder of the only hope we have: Jesus. He took the penalty of death upon himself. Now all who repent and believe will receive the free gift of eternal life.
