Description: GIS expert, Lorie Velarde, joins us this week with two badge stories: a residential burglary series and identifying a murderer. Lorie retraces her law enforcement career, including her 10-year tenure as a dispatcher, and how it led to her expertise in GIS and love for teaching. Lorie is currently a GIS Analyst with the Irvine Police Department.
