Juan Lira is a Bilingual Licensed Vocational Counselor with 16 years experience behind him and a Board-Approved Supervisor. He was a teacher before he became a school counselor. Currently he is practicing at Positive Soul Holistic Therapy in San Antonio Texas. His experience includes working with anxiety, relationship problems, depression as well as working with those families that are going through difficult periods, such as the loss of a love one, trauma, divorce and separation. Additionally, I work with individuals struggling with self-image, self-harm and dealing with life changes.
He specializes using proven methods based on theoretical practices which includes REBT- Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy and Brief Solution Focus Therapy. He counsels individuals, families, and groups and has written a blog post on Anxiety. You can read it here.
