This podcast will spotlight articles from the September, 2021 issue of JAMDA - the Journal of the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
Dr. Sloane is a family physician and geriatrician with a master's degree in public health. He is the Elizabeth and Oscar Goodwin distinguished professor of Family Medicine and Geriatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Co-director for the program on aging, disability, and long-term care, at the Cecil G Sheps Center for Health Services Research


Dr. Brown is also a family physician and geriatrician at University of North Carolina, where she is an associate professor of family medicine and director of the residency training program.
Dr. Naushira Pandya is Professor and Chair of the Geriatrics Department at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Director of the Geriatrics Education Center (GEC). She directs the Geriatrics Medicine Clinic at NSU COM and is the Medical Director of Avante at Boca. In addition she oversees the training of medical students, residents and fellows in Geriatrics, and is a research mentor to students, residents and faculty.
