Today mama and I did some healing. We began the process of forgiveness. Looking to the past to forgive can be uncomfortable and scary. Those skeletons may have been in the closet collecting dust for awhile! 😬

So we started with all of the ways we have betrayed ourselves. Does betrayed sound like like a strong word? It should, because that is in fact what we do when we deny our truth in order to; survive, please others, avoid conflict, to be liked, to smooth things over etc....

Our true- whole healing begins by taking full ownership. At the root of all lack in life and lack of wellness in the body there’s a great deal of healing, releasing and forgiving to do.

How to do to exercise of forgiveness to heal and to manifest all that you desire:

Step 1: Start with forgiving yourself. Go back as far as you can remember and write it all down.

Step 2. Move to the next closest relationship that needs healing, whether they “deserve” it or not, this work is about you - not them. Write it all down - go where there’s pain. Remember to release everyone “little” thing.

Step 3. Continue to write down any situations with people that come up. Nothing is too big of small. This may also prompt more self-forgiveness for your part in allowing or enabling the situation.

Step 4. Go through the list, feel it all for one last time and then burn 🔥 it (safely outside) and move your body! Feel free!

Notes on forgiving difficult situations:
- Your forgiveness does not free them, it frees you. Their guilt and karma is theirs.
- This is personal exercise.
- The longer you maintain the connection by living a life that lacks full joy, you are still connected to that person/situation in the ways of old habits, self talk, etc They are still hurting you, and likely those around you.
- You don’t need to have empathy for all who have hurt you, but if you want to try, remember that those who were hurt - hurt.
