*Derrick Johnson, President and CEO, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) was hired to lead the organization October, 2017. He comments on the goals of the NAACP, the importance of voter registration, voting, and advocacy. He takes strong exception to President Trump's use of lynching to explain his quagmire with the impeachment inquiry.

*Attorney Jesse Wineberry, Sr. Co Chair of the Initiative 1000 (I-1000) Campaign discusses the campaign effort with President Derrick Johnson and announces the latest support of I-1000 by the Seattle City Council, the Seattle Port Commission, and on Wednesday Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan signed the councils resolution in support of I-1000.

*Regina Glenn, President, Pacific Communications Consultants was honored last month by the Washington State Chapter-National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) by having the organizations Diversity Award in her honor.

*Hiawatha Davis aka Hiawatha D. comments on his exhibit "Iconic Black Women: Ain't I a Woman" at the Northwest African American Museum (NAAM) October 18, 2019-March 15, 2020.

*Jamie Elmore, Founder Alopecia Support Group has a follow up public conversation about the condition with individuals that have Alopecia and for family members and friends of people with the condition on Saturday, October 26 2-4 pm at Luther's Table Restaurant in Renton directly across from Renton High School.
