The UK Government has an ambitious ten-point plan to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and create and support up to 250,000 green jobs along the way.

According to the Government, there will be "electric vehicle technicians in the Midlands, construction and installation workers in the North East and Wales, specialists in advanced fuels in the North West, agroforestry practitioners in Scotland, and grid system installers everywhere" - but what part can apprentices and apprenticeships play in meeting those ambitious targets?

To talk through that and plenty more, Georgie Frost talks to Phil Beach CBE, chief executive of Energy and Utility Skills, and Liz Slee, from the Enterprise Trust.
