Episode 28 features Agegroup Multisport Athlete and founder of Endurance Peak Stuart Fisher

also the third part of our conversation about mental health in athletes with NHS Psychiatris Dr Pippa Jayne.

Stuart  Started playing football and cricket at the age of 9. He played for the county at Cricket at junior ranks. At the age of 19/20 he started to run just to keep fit and then transitioned into triathlons, half marathons and marathon and joined Newcastle Triathlon club (Did a little bit of everything) Started to discover the benefits of structured training.

Stuart moved away from triathlon in 2016/2017 and focused more on running and joined City of Stoke AC.  He represented Staffordshire in XC in 2018. and achieved 3k, 5k, 10k pbs 2017/2018. After  long lay off - tried cross training and crossfit etc.

Sturt Started back cycling and the running mileage increased and entered Oulton Park Duathlon in October and qualified for the Euros in my first ever duathlon.

Professionally Stuart was a college lecturer for 9 years in Sport Science. He worked in a commercial lab whilst achieving his MSc

He has  worked as a personal trainer at a celebrity bootcamp

and has just recently  set up his own sport science testing and endurance coaching business where he offers a whole host of Physiological Measurement analysis and Coaching solutions..
