On Episode 29 we chat to GB Agegrouper John Wood who has been involved in swimming for the last 25 years and has competed at National and International levels.
Within this period he has been swim coaching and taught for the last 15 years including multiple national finalists and champions.
He took up triathlon 10 years ago successfully competing at 4 European Age Group Championships, with a best placing of 4th in 2012 in Eilat, Israel. He has knowledge and first-hand experience of racing all distances of triathlon, from super-sprint to Ironman, having started with the intention of just doing a couple of races for fun! He started coaching triathlon and running in the last six years.

Triathlon coach with Bristol and District Triathlon club, Flying Monks Triathlon & North Bristol Tri, both adults, children and para athletes.
Swimming coach with Bath University Age Group Squad – including multiple national finalists and winners.
