Prof Emilce Cuda, Secretary of the Pontifical Latin American Commission and an official of the Roman Curia, speaks on Pope Francis's theology of the people, and option with the poor. She shares her vision of building bridges between the the Church of Latin American and the Church of Africa. She  is one of the closest collaborators of Pope Francis and a theologian who understands the vision of Pope Francis for the reform of the Church and the renewal of all her institutions and structures to assume a missionary orientation. Prof Cuda helps us to understand how the magisterial teaching of Pope Francis can be realized in Africa  and how the forthcoming Pan-African Catholic Congress in Nairobi, July 18-22, 2022 could be a springboard for the emergence of new pathways, resources, and insights for realizing the dream of Pope Francis for Africa.
