In this episode, the Co-Founders of Pranalakshmi, a platform dedicated to women and their development and overall wellbeing, Donna Poulidis, Sahar Joya and Danielle Daou discuss how the world as a whole is under great turmoil and how self care can be a political practice of resistance and resilience.

Sahar shared her experience of being born as an Afghan refugee and the wisdom she has to share regarding the recent news in Afghanistan.

She offers tips for the Afghan diaspora community in terms of coping with survival guilt and re-traumatization.

More than ever we need trauma informed care practices to navigate and sustain ourselves through these times, so we can be effective in making positive change in a sustainable way.

In light of this, Donna offers a meditation practice that incorporates breathwork and vibration, which can be used to help recenter and discharge the energetic chaos through the body.

With Love, Peace and Health,
Donna, Sahar & Danielle
