Gaining Recognition in the Adjusting Industry with Bill Auten of Ontario Insurance Part 2

In our previous episode, Bill Auten, from Ontario Insurance, described how he started his career as an adjuster and the qualifications his company looks for in an independent adjuster. He revealed that he was once a carpenter as he loved to build things.  He also gave us an idea on what a good file is, at the same time, the importance of taking pictures in the insurance business.    

 

Today, we talk about the crucial things of what an adjuster should do to get a good claim. Bill shares his experiences in dealing with difficult situations and persons, and, tips on what a new adjuster could do to make himself known in the industry.
