“Wine, Women and Politics” a post-election show of Activista Rise Up is special because it's Activista Rise Up's first live show! I was joined by Imani Oakley, North Jersey Regional Director of Progressive Democrats of New Jersey; Arlene Quinones Perez, Chair of Hunterdon County Democratic Committee and New Jersey Democratic State Committee's Latino Caucus Chair; Emy Quispe, Labor and Immigrant Rights Leader; and Uyen Khuong, Executive Director of Action Together New Jersey. These political leaders have fought for years for our working families especially during this pandemic where people of color were the most affected. This episode discusses what happens next for our communities as we continue to fight for our Democracy. Regardless of election results, we have a lot of work to do to keep pushing for real change that impacts working families.
