-Building Confidence

What does it take to build confidence? This is one area that a lot of people ask to be built up in and at one time, I was there too.

Confidence is one area that isn’t about a thing you do to zap the fear away, and it is completely gone. There is no red or blue pill that will show you exactly how to gain confidence. Confidence comes from an action that is consistently consistent, like riding a bike, learning to drive a car, learning equipment at a job…. Etc.

It starts with the unknown. It starts with a thought. It hovers. It probes. It seeks. Its vision.

So, lets talk vision.

1. Where did your vision come from? Was it something someone told you to do and you just ran with it, and come to find out that it wasn’t your lane?

Was it because of something that you saw online that someone else was doing and figured you can do it too?

When you figure out where it came from, which it should be God, and trusting yourself that you have to capability to have a vision and execute it.

2. Take a step forward. Establish your footing, and careful to pursue out of emotion. The heart and the emotional side of a thing can lead you to slippery and rocky places that the gear you have on, will not suffice this portion of your journey. You have prepared for a marathon, and you’ve landed on the side of a mountain that needs ropes to climb, backpacks to keep you fed and watered. Get the point?

3. Keep stepping! Ps. 37:23 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. One thing at a time.  Rushing the steps can lead you to creating the wrong product because the recipe has been compromised.

4. Stay the course and keep the momentum. 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Its not about the trophy, its about the consistency, the integrity and the faith to keep the thing going for the vision God has given you.

5. Money is your resource not your safeguard. Never be lead by what you can buy to keep up, rather stay your course until the opportunities present themselves to invest in something of worth. Visit with those that have blazed the trail before you. Counsel is key.

6. Do it anyway, God don’t make sense. 2 Kings 5

7. Give God Glory in all you do!!!
